Sodium Carbonate

In brick workshops, sodium carbonate is used as a shredding agent to reduce the volume of water needed to form clay. It is also used to make instant pasta. Sodium carbonate is a food additive (E500) that is used as a pickle regulator and as a stabilizer. Sodium carbonate is also used in the manufacture of ice cream. The feeling of coolness and carbonation is the result of a warming reaction between sodium carbonate and a weak acid (usually selected as citric acid), which results in carbon dioxide being produced when the ice cream is soaked with saliva. Sodium carbonate is also used to eliminate mold or other materials.

Description

Sodium carbonate is a sodium salt that is produced by combining it with carbonic acid
The most important use of sodium carbonate is in the chemical production of glass. As we heat sodium carbonate at very high temperatures, combine it with sand and calcium carbonate and then cool it rapidly, our product will be glass. Sodium carbonate is also used as a relatively strong backbone in many cases. For example, this compound is used as a pH regulator to maintain the stability of the alkaline conditions necessary for the performance of most of the generating agents.
